Welcome to CPRF-Kansas Benefits Counselors Network Website
The Kansas Benefits Counselors Network (KBCN) has a mission to help Kansans with Social Security Benefits make informed employment decisions for lifelong financial and social independence.
The societal and personal advantages for people with disabilities to understand and manage their own public benefits are bountiful. People with disabilities can seek to wisely and confidently use work incentives to train for and begin/return to employment. To assist with this educative process, we are proud to work with more than 100 service provider staff or individuals in communities across the State of Kansas. The variety of service organizations involved with the KBCN allows us to assist many Kansans on Social Security disability benefits.
The Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation of Kansas (CPRF of KS) in Wichita is the project sponsor of the KBCN funded by Cooperative Agreement No. 14-W-50034-7-01 from the Social Security Administration called Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) projects.
